Reupholstered Grandfather Chair

This chair seems to be one I cant let go. I spent close to 8 hours on this chair ,prepping the wood and staining along with recovering with a beautiful cowhide.
This was one of my first attempts are upholstery and there was a lot of questions of how do I do this and am I doing it right? However I learnt the whole thing is an adventure and over the time now I have recovered maybe 6 chairs and every time there is something new to learn.
